Snowflake/Taylor, Arizona are two neighboring towns located in Navajo County, Arizona. The area was founded in 1878 by Erastus Snow, William Jordan Flake, and James Pearce. Snow, Flake, and Pearce were Mormon pioneers and settlers that moved out west. The Silver Creek runs through Taylor and Snowflake which originates from the White Mountains and flows to the Little Colorado River on Arizona's Colorado Plateau.
